UK - Avon Calling... How, What, Why, Where?
I am looking at the pro's and con's of becoming an Avon Representative in my area. Can anyone in the UK give me advice on the role.
Fro example:
Are there fee's I need to pay upfront or through-out the position?
Can I sell on e-bay?

I'm not an Avon rep and I'm not in the UK, but since no one else has answered I'll try to help you out a bit. I do know a little bit about choosing and joining a direct sales company.
Avon is one of the least expensive companies to join. In the US it's often just $10 so I would think the UK's sign up fee is similar. With any business there will be ongoing costs. For a direct sales company those costs may include catalogs and business forms, the company provided website, and marketing and advertising costs. There may also be an annual renewal fee to the company.
Many (most?) direct sales companies don't allow their products to be sold through online auctions and many don't allow you to sell products from a website other than the one provided by the company.
You should visit the Avon website and contact them with your questions. They may also put you in touch with a consultant.
